The London Taxi Company is the manufacturer of the iconic London Black Cab which is utilised in over 40 major cities worldwide. We have invested £300m in a brand new range extended zero emission capable electric hybrid to be built in a brand new factory in Coventry which will be completed in 2016.

Last year we successfully launched our first graduate scheme and, given our ambitious and exciting growth plans for the future, we are looking for additional engineering graduates who want to make a difference, enjoy working collaboratively, are enthusiastic, keen to add value and contribute from the outset.
As an engineering graduate you will join our engineering teams in Coventry and/or Brentwood and work on the development of our current and future model range. We have 4 training programmes:
Whatever your chosen programme your training will include a series of ‘real-time’ project based placements lasting approximately 15 months within engineering and manufacturing both in the UK and potentially overseas as well as exposure to the wider business areas – sales & marketing, supply chain and finance. This will be underpinned by formal training in the relevant technical disciplines, business improvement techniques, leadership skills, project management skills, personal effectiveness and the LTC Knowledge.
This will prepare you for your first role in either design engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering or manufacturing where you will enjoy the challenge of contributing and making a real difference in a fast moving, highly collaborative team environment. Starting salary: £26,000
Professional development - We will support you on your journey towards incorporated or chartered engineer status
What we are looking for
A minimum 2:2 degree in either electrical/electronic, mechanical, manufacturing engineering (IET, ImechE accredited). Ideally you will already have some work experience but it doesn’t have to be engineering related. You must be a team player with a ‘can do’ approach to life.
